About Me

Hi! My name is Megan and I've been working with dogs and other pets since 2015. My first real job was at a dog grooming shop when I was 16 years old. I started by cleaning up kennels and mopping floors, to bathing and brushing dogs and over time I would strip dogs down for the groomer before they went into the bath until I was eventually grooming dogs on my own.

Working with animals has always been my passion since I was young. I've been a vegetarian for most of my life and a vegan since 2017. I've always been very connected to animals and no matter what I’ve done in life, I've always found my way back to dog grooming. I love the creative aspect of grooming where I am able to take a dog and transform their looks and make them as comfortable and clean as possible.

In the hustle and bustle of a traditional grooming salon the art of dog grooming can be lost when groomers are trying to make the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time. That's why I decided to go off on my own in order to put the time, care, effort and love into the craft of dog grooming.

With me, your dog is always my first priority. That is why I only take one dog at a time, and spend my time making sure your pup is comfortable and relaxed while being groomed. Sometimes the environment at a dog grooming salon can be overwhelming for dogs, because there is a lot of stimulation. There are loud noises with constant dogs barking, blow dryers, and clippers running all day. Some dogs also become stressed waiting in cages to be groomed or even get stressed by being around so many other dogs and smells. Being in their own home environment, dogs tend to be more relaxed and comfortable which makes the grooming process so much more enjoyable.

Other dogs may just have a natural affinity to being groomed, but I take my time giving pups breaks, love and treats in order to lessen the stress of being groomed. With me, your dog is family and I try to build love and trust with all my clients dogs in order to create a bond for life.
